M199 w: EBSS, w: L-Glutamine, w: 2.2 g/L NaHCO₃
Classic cell culture medium · RUO (P04-07050) · GMP (CT-07050)
Medium 199 (M199) was originally developed to assay the nutrient demand of embryonic chicken fibroblasts and works well with cells from many animal species, including in virology and vaccine production. This formulation contains Earle’s Balanced Salt Solution (EBSS), L-glutamine, glucose and 2.2 g/L sodium bicarbonate, with phenol red and without HEPES. For long-term culture, serum should be added.
One GMP quality. M199 w: EBSS, w: L-Glutamine, w: 2.2 g/L NaHCO₃ is a GMP-grade catalogue product (CT-07050), manufactured or assured by PAN-Celltech and released against a defined quality-control panel on every lot.
