The Pen/Strep/Amphotericin B Mix combines 10,000 U/ml penicillin, 10 mg/ml streptomycin and 25 µg/ml amphotericin B in 0.85 % saline. It provides both antibacterial (penicillin and streptomycin) and antifungal (amphotericin B) protection in a single addition, which is convenient when broad contamination control is required or when handling samples at higher contamination risk.
