Pantum L24 is a complete growth medium tailored for the cultivation of peripheral blood lymphocytes. It is based on a modified IMDM formulation and contains the natural mitogen phytohemagglutinin (PHA), enabling efficient activation and proliferation of lymphocytes. The medium includes purified plasma proteins, lipids, growth factors, a soybean-derived nutrient fraction, iron-transport proteins and enriched trace elements, creating an environment that supports stable and reproducible lymphocyte culture. Pantum L24 is supplied as a ready-to-use liquid medium; no addition of serum or growth factors is necessary.
The mitogen is already in the bottle. Pantum L24 supplies phytohemagglutinin together with purified plasma proteins, lipids and growth factors, so peripheral blood lymphocytes are activated and proliferate in a stable, reproducible ready-to-use medium.
