Panserin 401 is a fully defined, serum-free, ready-to-use allround medium for the cultivation of a wide variety of adherent and non-adherent cells. It is based on Iscove’s MEM with trace elements, albumin, cholesterol, soy lipids and vitamins, contains no growth or attachment factors, and keeps protein and animal-derived components below 0.2 % w/v. Because it contains no growth factors, it also provides a clean background for studying the effects of specific growth factors added to the culture. Cell types successfully cultivated in Panserin 401 include hybridoma, lymphocytes, macrophages, fibroblasts, melanocytes, carcinoma cells, HEK, HeLa and CHO cells.
A defined base for many cell types. Panserin 401 is built on Iscove’s MEM with a defined, low-protein composition (< 0.2 % w/v protein and animal-derived components) and no growth or attachment factors, so it supports a wide range of adherent and non-adherent cells and gives a clean background for growth-factor studies. Like every PAN-Biotech product, it is available in GMP quality on request – manufactured GMP EU Annex 1-compliant by PAN-Celltech.
