FBS Premium tetracycline free is a fetal bovine serum tested for the absence of tetracycline using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). This makes it suitable for tetracycline-regulated (TET-on / TET-off) gene-expression systems, where residual tetracycline in standard serum could interfere. It is sourced from serum of defined South America origin, with the country of origin confirmed on the Certificate of Analysis for each lot and is 0.2 µm sterile-filtered.
