Amphotericin B 250 µg/ml
Antifungal for contamination control. · Antifungal · RUO (P06-01050)
Amphotericin B (250 µg/ml) is a ready-to-use polyene antifungal used to control contamination by yeasts and moulds in cell culture. It acts by binding ergosterol in the fungal cell membrane and increasing its permeability. It is added to media at low working concentrations, usually alongside an antibiotic for broad contamination control.
PAN-Biotech quality. Amphotericin B 250 µg/ml is manufactured by PAN-Biotech / PAN-Celltech and released against a defined quality-control panel; a GMP grade is available on request where applicable.
