Iscove’s Modified Dulbecco’s Medium (IMDM) is a highly enriched synthetic medium, a modification of DMEM that includes selenium, additional amino acids and vitamins, sodium pyruvate and HEPES buffer, with potassium nitrate in place of ferric nitrate. It is well suited for rapidly proliferating, high-density cultures. When supplemented with albumin, transferrin and soy lipids it is particularly suitable for culturing lymphocytes, bone-marrow cells or hybridoma cells.
PAN-Biotech quality. IMDM is manufactured by PAN-Biotech / PAN-Celltech and released against a defined quality-control panel; a GMP grade is available on request where applicable.
