Neuropan
Medium for the cultivation of neural cells. · Neural-cell medium · RUO (P04-00900)
Neuropan Basal Medium supports the growth of hippocampal and many other neuronal cells of the central nervous system, without the need for an astrocyte feeder layer. It contains salts, amino acids, glucose, L-glutamine and trace elements in an optimized formulation, but no glutamate – which should be added for the initial culture (25 µM). Before use it is supplemented with serum, or with the Neuropan 27 or NS21 Supplement for serum-free neuronal culture.
PAN-Biotech quality. Neuropan is manufactured by PAN-Biotech / PAN-Celltech and released against a defined quality-control panel; a GMP grade is available on request where applicable.
