Hanks’ Balanced Salt Solution (HBSS) 10x concentrate, without calcium, magnesium, phenol red and sodium bicarbonate, is a ten-fold stock for preparing 1x HBSS. Diluted with cell culture grade water and, if required, supplemented with bicarbonate, it gives a Ca/Mg- and dye-free balanced salt solution. The concentrate saves storage space and lets you prepare the volume you need.
