DPBS (10x) with calcium and magnesium is a ten-fold concentrate of Dulbecco’s Phosphate Buffered Saline containing divalent cations. Diluted 1:10 with cell culture grade water it gives a standard 1x DPBS with Ca and Mg for washing and handling cells where those ions are needed. The concentrate saves storage space and lets you prepare the volume you need.
