Stable Glutamine 200 mM is a 100x supplement based on the dipeptide L-alanyl-L-glutamine. Unlike free L-glutamine, the dipeptide is far more stable in aqueous solution and degrades much more slowly, so it produces less ammonia over time and can be added to media well ahead of use. Cells cleave the dipeptide to release L-glutamine as needed. A GMP-grade version (CT-82100) is in preparation (coming soon).
