The IMDM is a modified DMEM, with a higher content of vitamins, selenium and amino acids. When supplemented with albumin, transferrin and soy lipids, it is well suited to culturing lymphocytes, marrow cells or hybridoma cells. It is available in several configurations differing in glutamine form, HEPES / phenol red, so you can match the formulation to your protocol.
