This medium supports the growth of almost all cell lines. For example, it is used for pancreas cells, Sertoli cells or to culture cells, which are used for human protein production. It combines the advantages of both media DMEM (high concentration of amino acids and vitamins) and Ham`s F12 (higher concentration of zinc sulfate, putrescine and linoleic acid). It is available in several configurations differing in glutamine form, so you can match the formulation to your protocol.
