DMEM (Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium) is an Eagle medium modification with a fourfold higher content of amino acids and vitamins; the formulation also includes glycine, serine and ferric nitrate. Originally developed with 1.0 g/L glucose to culture embryonic mouse cells, it is tailor-made for a broad range of cells, especially when supplemented with FBS. It is offered in several configurations: 1.0 g/L glucose is the standard medium and 4.5 g/L glucose is for cells with a high energy demand, with further options for glutamine form, sodium pyruvate, HEPES and phenol red.
DMEM – available RUO and GMP. A matched GMP grade (CT-03550) is available for regulated and manufacturing workflows; choose the configuration that fits your cells.
