FBS Supreme is a South America fetal bovine serum for which only prescreened serum is used in the final product, giving a standardized and reproducible growth characteristic. It offers reproducible, enhanced growth properties and a low endotoxin level and is suitable for many different cell types. Virus- and mycoplasma-tested and 0.2 µm sterile-filtered, it contains serum only of high quality from defined countries, with a Certificate of Analysis stating the country of origin for each lot. It is normally used at a concentration of 10 %.
