Cryopan I is a serum-free, ready-to-use freezing medium for the cryopreservation of cells. It contains 10 % DMSO as cryoprotectant and provides a standardized, serum-free background for reproducible freezing. Cells are frozen at a controlled rate and stored below -150 °C in a nitrogen tank or ultra-low freezer for long-term preservation.
