Sterile Water for Cell Culture is an ultrapure, sterile-filtered (0.2 µm) research-grade water for cell-culture and laboratory use. Sterile Water for Cell Culture is an ultrapure, ready-to-use water produced by reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration and electrodeionization, then sterile-filtered to 0.2 µm. Every batch is quality-controlled, including sterility testing and verification of key physicochemical parameters.

One partner, across the whole purity ladder. PAN-Biotech offers three matched water grades — Sterile Water for Cell Culture (research), WFI Quality Water (GMP, EP/USP) and WFI Beyond (beyond compendial, FDA DMF) — so the same partner carries you from research to GMP without changing supplier.

Why Sterile Water

  • Ultrapure & sterile — sterile-filtered to 0.2 µm, with a contamination-free aqueous base.
  • Ready to use — no further treatment needed for routine bench work.
  • Low endotoxin — consistent quality where full pharmacopoeial WFI is not mandatory.
  • Batch-controlled — comprehensive QC including sterility testing.
  • Flexible formats — from small bottles to a 20 L bag.
  • Research economy — the right grade for non-GMP laboratory workflows.

Frequently asked questions

Is Sterile Water for Cell Culture a GMP product?

No — it is a research-grade (non-GMP) ultrapure water for routine laboratory and cell-culture use. For GMP-regulated work, see WFI Quality Water; for beyond-compendial performance, see WFI Beyond.

Is it sterile?

Yes. It is sterile-filtered to 0.2 µm and each batch undergoes sterility testing.

What is it used for?

Media preparation, reagent dilution, buffer formulation and analytical procedures where low endotoxin and consistent quality are needed but full pharmacopoeial WFI compliance is not required.

What sizes are available?

500 ml and 1 L bottles and a 20 L bag (P04-991500 / P04-991000 / P04-992000).
