PAN-Celltech GmbH, the GMP arm of the PAN group, manufactures ready-to-use media, reagents, buffers and pharmaceutical water in a dedicated EU GMP Annex 1 facility in Germany. RUO and GMP versions share the same formulation - only the catalogue prefix changes (P- for RUO, CT- for GMP).

Serum

Fetal bovine serum by PAN-Biotech: FBS Premium, FBS Supreme, FBS Standard, Sera Low (low endotoxin) and Pansera ES (ES cell tested), 0.2 µm sterile filtered

Fetal bovine serum, human sera and other animal sera for cell culture and biopharmaceutical applications. All sera are tested for viruses and mycoplasma; processes are certified by the EDQM (Certificate of Suitability).

  • Fetal bovine serum (FBS): several origins and grades, incl. FBS Supreme and Sera Low (endotoxin < 1 EU/ml)
  • Treatments: gamma irradiation, heat inactivation, dialysis, charcoal treatment, delipidation, IgG reduction, tetracycline-tested

GMP grade products are made by PAN-Celltech to EU GMP Annex 1 with a Certificate of Analysis per batch and carry the prefix CT-. RUO and GMP versions share the same formulation, so a project can scale without reformulation.
Can I order a catalogue product in a custom formulation or pack size?
Yes. Catalogue formulations can be modified or manufactured to customer specification. Custom batches start at 1 L for RUO and 2 L for GMP and go up to 1,000 L, in bottles or single-use bags.
