Tryptic soy broth (TSB) medium is a nutrient-rich liquid growth medium that promotes the growth of a variety of microorganisms, including aerobes and facultative anaerobes. TSB is a general-purpose medium referenced in the European Pharmacopeia (EP) and the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) and is mainly used in pharmaceutical manufacturing, e.g. in sterility testing and media fill applications. We provide non-animal origin TSB medium in GMP-grade, designed for high quality standards of the biopharmaceutical industry. Application areas of our TSB medium include sterility testing, media fill tests, validation of sterilization procedures, environmental monitoring and equipment validation.

It helps to maintain a stable pH and osmotic pressure environment in the physiological range. It also has isotonic and non-toxic properties which makes PBS solutions well-suited for maintaining the viability of mammalian cells in vitro. We manufacture our GMP-grade PBS solutions according to your individual requirements, such as special formulations or packaging. Our PBS buffers are perfectly suited for upstream process development in the bioproduction of therapeutical proteins and monoclonal antibodies or for vaccine manufacturing. In cell and gene therapy, our high quality buffers find their use amongst others in downstream processing of advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs).

EDTA solutions are primarily used to chelate divalent cations like calcium (Ca2+) and magnesium (Mg2+) which is important for several applications in bioprocessing. In biomolecule downstream processing, ETDA is used for buffer preparations when stabilization of metal-sensitive enzymes is necessary or to remove contaminating metal ions. Also, for cell culturing applications EDTA solutions are used for detachment of adherent cells for routine passaging.
