Accutase® - Ready-to-Use Cell Detachment Solution

Accutase® is a ready-to-use cell dissociation solution made of collagenolytic and proteolytic enzymes, designed as a direct replacement for Trypsin. It is ideal for the routine detachment of adherent cells from tissue culture plates and flasks or for reducing cell clumping in suspension cells, for example during cell cultivation prior to FACS analysis. Accutase® has been successfully used for subculturing a wide variety of cell types, including fibroblasts, endothelial cells, vascular smooth muscle cells, hepatocytes, embryonic stem cells, and many immortalized cell lines such as adherent CHO and BHK cells, HEK 293, L929, HeLa, 3T3, and others. Additionally, Accutase® is free of mammalian and bacterial products, ensuring suitability for sensitive downstream applications.
